Blair County Oil scored five runs in the third inning en route to a 7-4 win over Honey Baked Ham in a Greater City League baseball game at Prospect Park on Wednesday.

Devin Weyandt had two hits and three RBIs for BCO (6-6) while teammate Josh Scalice had two hit and two RBIs.

Bryce Martellacci had three hits and scored two runs for HBH (1-6) while teammate Garrett Rossman contributed two hits and two RBIs.

BCE earns big victory

Brent Cogan Electrical needed only four innings to beat the Allegheny Ridge Bats, 16-0, in a Greater City League game at Juniata.

Bradey Michaels drove in four runs on two hits for the winners. Teammates Owen Dombrosky and Connor Blough each had two hits and three RBIs. Dombrosky also scored four times, and Blough was the winning pitcher, giving up two hits in four innings with four strikeouts.

The Ridge Bats (1-9) committed six errors and their pitchers walked 10 batters.
