Despite the fact that he's only 32 years old, Matsuyama has already been a professional for more than 11 years and he's an 18-time winner worldwide. Nine of those victories have come on the PGA Tour including a major championship win at the 2021 Masters.
Matsuyama is currently ranked 14th in the Official World Golf Ranking and eighth in the FedEx Cup standings, shooting a breathtaking final-round 62 to earn a signature event victory at the Genesis Invitational. He's coming off a sixth-place finish at the U.S. Open and was t-13th at the Open Championship last year.
